Naima Todd (2011)
Naima Todd (2011) shares her journey on fulfilling her dream to become a veterinarian.
'Girls Grammar taught me to strive to do my best, follow my passion, and to never give up. Through school I didn’t have much of an interest in science classes – I preferred history, English and music – and I didn’t achieve particularly good grades, but I worked hard.
When I left school, I found a passion for working with and helping animals, so my dream was to become a Veterinarian. Despite a few set-backs over the years trying to accomplish this dream, including moving overseas to study and not getting into the program I wanted, I worked very hard and I graduated from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program in Melbourne in 2022.
I now get to work with and help animals daily and I don’t regret the long years of studying to achieve my dream. I am eternally grateful to BGGS for developing my sense of drive to achieve my goals/dreams and to work hard no matter the set-backs.'
