'Girls Grammar provided me with invaluable opportunities to cultivate my advocacy skills and gave me the confidence to strive for leadership opportunities.'
While studying at university, Bella continued to develop her interest in public speaking by engaging with the QUT Debating Society, allowing her to travel around Australia, Indonesia and New Zealand. She also participated in mock court competitions which assisted with developing her legal problem-solving skills.
Alongside her interest in public speaking, Bella volunteered on various student committees including the QUT Debating Society and Brisbane Girls Debating Association- a charity empowering secondary school girls in public speaking.
During her final two years at university, Bella volunteered at QUT Law Society, which eventuated to a leadership role as President while concurrently working as a paralegal at the top-tier commercial law firm Allens. As a passionate advocate for women and creating access to justice for vulnerable members of the community, Bella is one of the two pro bono coordinators for Allens Brisbane and coordinates the Brisbane Reconciliation Committee. Bella was recently awarded ''Graduate Lawyer Of The Year'' by the Queensland Law Society.
Bella is also an accomplished cello player, pianist and vocalist and continues to perform on all three instruments as part of The Legal Forecast symphony orchestra (affectionately known as ‘Lawchestra’).
