About

Learning from the lived experience of others is immensely powerful for current students. Our Young Grammar Women are former students aged 30 and below, who want to give back and invest in the next generation. As part of the program, our Year 11 students can learn from peer mentors to help guide them as they navigate their academic, personal and other life goals.

As a program mentor, you will invest your time into four 90-minute sessions across a semester (two per term). The sessions are designed to empower our Year 11 students, while enabling you to share your experiences and knowledge.

We encourage any eligible mentors who:

  • share a desire to help others succeed
  • are trustworthy, reliable and will maintain confidentiality
  • actively listen to others and comfortable offering supportive advice
  • feel comfortable sharing their own lived experience.
