The School was excited to open our new Floreamus Centre this week. A combined space for the School’s Health Centre and Psychologists, the Floreamus Centre aims to promote student wellbeing and provide proactive advice, support and assistance for staff and students’ physical, social and emotional needs.
In addition to individualised support, the Centre provides a specialised wellness program to build girls’ resilience and cultivate courage, optimism, and resourcefulness. Utilising innovative and evidence-based research to guide the School’s practice, the Centre aims to help Grammar girls make informed lifestyle choices, engage in self-care, and develop the necessary skills to contribute to their success. The Centre also seeks to enhance strong relationships between home and school, and equip teachers and parents with the knowledge and skills to feel confident in supporting student wellbeing.
