Last Thursday, the Brisbane Girls Grammar School Open Tennis Tournament was held in conjunction with senior tennis trials. For the second consecutive year, Emily Ryan (8E) defeated Constance Gentner (12G) in the final, earning Emily the prestigious Milisent A. Wilkinson Bequest for School Tennis Champion.
The tournament also featured strong performances by Stephanie Fancutt (11G) and Margaret Jones (11L), who both reached the semi-finals. Congratulations to all girls who participated in the tournament and tried out for senior tennis teams this year.
