Giving Day 2024

This year, be part of something remarkable and join us for Giving Day on Tuesday 27 August.

Giving Day is a celebration of the enduring spirit of philanthropy in our School community and will raise essential funds for three projects—the greening of the Cherrell Hirst Creative Learning Centre (CLC), the Junior School building, and the BGGS Bursary Program.

  • The project to green the CLC will add abundant foliage that complements the striking architecture of the building, enriching the student experience.
  • The introduction of Years 5 and 6 in 2026 is an exciting and contemporary evolution of a Girls Grammar education. The transformation of 89 Gregory Terrace into the new Junior School will provide a unique environment where Year 5 and 6 girls can experience a sense of comfort in their own surroundings.
  • Bursaries have the power to be life-changing for recipients, as well as communities. Through the BGGS Bursary Program, our School is able to offer means-tested bursaries to girls who would not otherwise have the opportunity to access a Girls Grammar education.

We encourage you to consider making a gift, of any size, on Giving Day, Tuesday 27 August.

Every donation towards Giving Day will be generously matched by the Parents & Friends Association, Fathers Group, Mothers Group and Old Girls Association, who have already committed their support to these important initiatives.

Your gift can transform a girl’s future and enrich her current learning environment. Together, we can support the next generation of girls to take their place in the world.
