Foundation Day and the 60-Plus Year Reunion

On Wednesday 8 March, as part of the School’s Foundation Day celebrations, 80 Grammar Women returned to the Spring Hill Campus to reconnect with their peers and celebrate their ongoing connection with the School. This special annual event also included the 60-Plus Year Reunion, for past students who attended Girls Grammar more than 60 years ago. Held on International Women’s Day, we were honoured to have alumnae at the event who graduated as far back as 1936. For our alumnae who are also current grandmothers of Grammar girls, they were delighted to be joined by their granddaughters to assist with ‘Her Stories and Mysteries of Girls Grammar’a fact-finding challenge facilitated by School History and Culture Manager, Pauline Harvey-Short OAM (Harvey, 1971).
